The Universe

According to the Universe thoughts become things.  That is the secret.  Thoughts become things.  Our world, our universe is exactly how we think it is.  If I think I am happy, I am.  If I think I am blessed, I am.

So is it possible to be successful by sitting on the couch all day do nothing but think about success?  Can I reach my goals simply by setting them?  I believe dreams are for people who are asleep.  To reach my goals I need to get energized and focused.  I must get off the couch and do something, anything, everyday.

I am not deterred by mistakes I have made and opportunities I have missed.  No, I am motivated by possibilities and supported by people who love me.  I am free of those who don’t see, those who cannot imagine.  I don’t know what on earth is going to happen next, but I am excited to find out.

This is how it all began.

It all started with a game of cat and mouse…literally.  One of our cats was chasing a mouse in the cellar and knocked over a 50-pound sack of potatoes, it hit the valve stem of our oil tank and spilled 200 gallons of heating oil on the floor and onto the driveway.

One fireman said to me that if I didn’t leave the house that he was calling an ambulance and having them take me away. Soon the fire department hazardous materials crew and the EPA declared my house environmental disaster.

My husband Bob and I could not stay there.  We were fortunate to have friends and family like you who let us stay with them.  Soon after we moved into a hotel.  It was then I noticed my pants were fitting loosely.

I decided I would make the best of it and lose some weight.  There were signs posted around town that said “Help Littleton lose a ton”. I immediately called and spoke with a weight loss coach and joined the next challenge. That was just 2 weeks after we moved back into our house.

Three weeks into the challenge, my mother died unexpectedly. I went to my coach and told her that I had to quit, that I didn’t have the strength or the energy to continue with the challenge. But she pushed me to continue and use my hardships as my incentive to improve my own health.

I started using the Herbalife products and walked 2 miles a day. I felt strong and my energy improved. There were other results too, my weight dropped and I lost several inches across my chest, waist and arms. I came in second place in that challenge, 11.8 pounds and 21 inches. Littleton lost a ton.

The memory of my mother gave me the strength to continue. I joined a second challenge.  I lost an additional 19.2 pounds and 14.25 inches. Now I walk about 8 miles a day and I am in the best shape of my life.

I no longer play cat and mouse with my health.  My friends and family helped me through two difficult times in my life.  In return, let me teach you how to lose weight and improve your health too.   Join me in the next challenge.  I am dedicating everyone I help in honor of my mother, Jean Tringale.

Merry Christmas

Went to Dad’s house this morning and wrote out Christmas cards for him. I didn’t even know my mother wrote out cards. I never got one and neither did my sister who lives out of state. The address book he gave me to work out of was outdated (getting him a new one for Christmas, ssshhhh). I called my Aunt and she confirmed that she received a card every year from my mother and even has one framed in her bedroom. But I got it done and he was happy.
